Just Robyn
Does anyone have a suggestion for a good story about sticking to a commitment that I could read to my 4th grade ds? If there is something secular that would be preferred, but I am not unwilling to consider religious stories. It just depends on the story and how it is worded. Rosie_0801
The Serendipity books are secular. I haven't read them all so I'm not sure if there are any suitable. Rosie
Aurelia
My brother and I liked the ValueTales as kids. This one is about commitment.
Just Robyn
I love Serendipity books! And I had forgotten all about them even though we have a few. Looking at the wikipedia list they don't seem to have anything about sticking to a commitment though. :( That Value Tales book looks like what I'm after. Now to find it for under $80... Maybe rather than looking for a book specifically about sticking to a commitment I can get several books about values that would combine to mean one should really stick to a commitment. Those two together would make sense. Maybe I'll add in the Value Tales books about responsibility and determination too since they're reasonably priced. Okay, I have a plan! Thanks!
