I just saw this. Out-of-town company arrives in a few hours, so quickly:

Generally, I've gone with the recommendations in WTM, Ch. 39. The Great Books was taking about 2 hours/day when we were doing it as scheduled, so I figured I should give a social studies credit and a literature credit per year. For example, first year would be World Literature I and World History I. One of the years we did Modernity, I ended up calling one of the credits "Modern Philosophies". We did a lot of CLEPs and some AP's to back up the transcript and give me peace of mind. When we did that, I listed the course by the exam name. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer, but I've only been checking in occasionally lately.
