mlktwins
Hi all! We have new hardwood floors and we put the felt pads on the bottom of some of the furniture. Well they slid off when we moved the furniture and I have some sticky residue on the floor. What can I use to get it off? I know Goo-gone would work, but my son HATES the smell and can smell it upstairs if I use even just a tiny bit downstairs. This is for in his room. Thanks much! Teachin'Mine
Oils usually break down sticky stuff. I'd try some lemon oil or even just cooking oil and see if that works. Just make sure you clean with something afterward so it's not slippery.
LaxMom
Maybe try just rubbing it with some oil? That should be safe for any finish and won't stink up the place like goo-gone (I'm not a fan of the smell, either, but it's great when I need it.) 3peasinapod
Maybe some Murphy's Oil Soap?
