Crafty Mathy Mom
I'm going through my bookmarks and ran across these. Both are from the American Chemical Society and targeted for middle school. http://www.inquiryinaction.org/ http://www.middleschoolchemistry.com/
Chris in VA
I've downloaded and printed the MS Chem--it looks awesome! I know there's a thread somewhere on WTM that lists all the materials needed--maybe someone can point it out. I did think Inquiry...was more for elementary students (late elem), but I will check that out, too. And, at the bottom of the linked page, there's a link for the American Physics Society. They have some neat experiments to do at home, and also some physics coloring books. There's just a wealth of info!

Chris in VA
Ah--heard from one of the writers of the Inquiry course, and he said it's for 3-6 grade. So there is overlap with middle school, if 6th is middle school in your area. :001_smile:
brownie
We're doing physics this year. I tried to get some of the coloring pages and experiments at the APS site but everything I try to download freezes up partway through...even trying to get 1 coloring page at a time. Let me know if anyone else tries it. http://www.physicscentral.com/experiment/colormephysics/index.cfm

I tried one of the Spectra books and it eventually loaded, but it took a while.
