BearWallowSchool
A couple weeks ago I bought a new Macbook laptop. I've always had a PC so I have a couple dumb questions. It has the new OSX Lion software if that matters. How do I copy and paste? How do I open a new internet page without closing out of the first one? ChrissySC
Select what you want to copy Press ctrl + C to copy Press ctrl + V to paste ---- Select what you want to copy and drag and drop ---- Use Copy and Paste from Edit menu ---- And I found this for you too... :) http://www.wikihow.com/Copy-and-Paste-on-a-Mac
ChrissySC
How do I open a new internet page without closing out of the first one? Which broswer? Safari? I assume you want to switch between the frames? Try this link .... http://www.ehow.com/how_4873928_multiple-browser-windows-safari-toggle.html Anything else you need? Let me know. I will try and find a good set of instructions or answer myself (but I don't always explain it in non-techie terms :D )
bagel270
To open a new window in Safari go to File then Open New Window.
JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
ctrl + x is the cut half of cut and paste, something I use almost as much as copy and paste I don't know about using it with Lion but I use Firefox on my iMac - consider it if you find safari too confusing.
