Is there anything like Netflix for E-Books?

Recommended Posts

It's probably called overdrive. That's the big company I think. Philadelphia free library is a big library where you can pay $75? a year and download 10 books at a time. After your rental period (1-3 weeks- you decide) you can no longer access them. My library has some, but not a lot. I also have a library card to Tucson, AZ and plan on getting one to Seattle. Most places will let you get a visitor card if you physically visit that's also good for ebooks. there are a few, like Philadelphia, where you can send in a check out of state.

The local library system has e-books but they are only available for county residents. I live in the next county over. It is kind of ridiculous. I have had library card with them since I was 14.
