I use that, WTM and LCC as a basis for my curriculum choices. I like the Bluedorns book because it has more Christianity in it than WTM, which is a very important part of our lives. Hunter Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 I learned about Understanding Writing from reading Trivium Pursuit and am very thankful for the recommendation. TP gives some advice for using WRTR and I can use all the help I can get for tackling that book. TP also gives instructions for having the student write their own English handbook. The chapter on picking literature gives suggestions on HOW Christians should choose literature. It defines faith, fact, fiction and fantasy.
