Alenee Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 As homeschoolers, we talk a lot about teaching our kids to *think*. I, in fact, just mentioned it in another thread here a few minutes ago. The thing is, it's NOT been easy in the least! Yesterday, however, we had a success! There's a castle here in our little town that we drive by frequently. The kids were asking about it and I kept saying, "I don't know." Finally, they came to me and told me that of all things, THEY LOOKED IT UP! :lol: Truly, this was a great day! That they *thought* to do it w/o my urging was such a boon to my confidence! I've often wondered if anything I'm teaching is getting through to them.
