bettyandbob
have you seen these. do they really work. are they noisy. is there a brand that is cheaper than dyson. ds room cannot have a ceiling fan. the room needs a fan of some kind. In the past we've had one of those square fans that you can stick in window.
CariS
They had some of the dyson brand on display at the store last summer. The wind coming off of them was pretty good, imo, and not a sound. I've never seen any other brand. :( ~Cari
WishboneDawn
From what I've read I wouldn't bother. They actually DO have blades, they're just in the base of the fan. The air gets routed up into the round bit they hint does all the actual work and out from there. Because the blades are smaller to fit in the base and because the air has a bit of a journey to get out of the whole mechanism they aren't as powerful as regular fans of a comparable size. It's basically a normal fan in sheep's clothing. They are more expensive though but you're not paying for any advanced technology or increased efficiency, you're paying for the Dyson brand. Guest lyline
Actually I have heard about Dyson bladeless fan in 2009, and I really love the design, but it’s too expensive! You know what, this concept is for cooling extrusions in a factory and not his “inventionâ€. But he named it the Dyson fan anyway. The name and the price tag gave me the impression of ego and greed, which may not be true at all. He believed that it would sell even if way overpriced. He is right. Some people are buying it. But I think he would be much smarter and reasonable if he priced it under $100, and he would be benefiting more people and making much more money that way, and people would think much nicer of him. and everyone will be happy. After all, an invention should be to benefit as many people as possible, and not just a few immature adults who like toys such as myself. i bought a mini bladeless air multiplier on SpeMall.com for only $40, it's cute and i think it's worth for the money, maybe you guys should have a look, here's a link for your refer:http://www.spemall.com/Bladeless-Fan_c.html
