Michele R.
I just posted a question about dulcimers, which reminded me of another question...has anybody ever heard of 8 Chords, 100 songs curriculum? They were at our annual Homeschool Curr. Fair last weekend and seemed very nice. Just wanted to know if anybody had ever used them or had any thoughts about teaching guitar. Our entire family wants to learn, but we're having trouble scheduling lessons (and budgeting money) for all of us! Suggestions? Ideas? -Thanks! -Michele R. Parrothead
I've never used that curriculum. But the title seems a bit accurate. I dated a guitar guy many moons ago. I remember him telling me that most songs (rock) only use three chords.
ELaurie
In our area, a local music school offers group lessons for $14 per half hour, which is about half the going rate. The tricky part would be that I assume you would want to find a way to do this without buying everyone his / her own guitar :001_smile:
Rhondabee
Thanks for link! Have you tried youtube or the library, yet? My ds and his friends also find tablature(?) online - you don't have to read music, it just tells you what fret to press. Rhonda
