MeganW
I know I have read on here somewhere a thread comparing Asian to American math, but I can't find it anywhere. My dad is interested in reading more about it. Can someone point me to a concise description of the differences? (We are primarily using RightStart, if that matters.) He's probably not interested enough to read Liping Ma - I need it in a nutshell. THANKS!

sbgrace
I'll bump you as I'm curious! If I recall, though, your RightStart manual has information about the differences and rational in the front. You might look and see if it's just enough.
Alice
Did you try searching for Singapore Math? Or Liping Ma whose book, Knowing and Teaching Elementary Mathematics , is often talked about here.
