AAR question

Bummer!! I'm sure that this is a question for the Chatter Bee group, but, I wonder if it is not ready in time for when I want to start, if I could just use AAS level 2 for phonics instruction?

If you've already done AAS 1, then I think that would be a fine choice. You could add in the AAR readers that match or your own readers to work on fluency.

Merry :-)

Have you done AAS 1 yet? I would recommend starting there if not :). Quite a few people have used it for phonics instruction though we haven't - we've done it more as review/intensive encoding (spelling), but I can definitely see how you could use it for phonics. Personally, I have found that my children have learned decoding (reading) much more quickly than encoding (spelling).
