Cricket
My oldest is going into 8th grade so I'm using this year to practice keeping a transcript and grades. He intends on playing baseball for a public high school and from what I've heard I will most likely need to track grades. Is there a book or resource you can recommend on homeschooling the high school years?
Margo out of lurking
Form-U-La by Barb Shelton. It's a crazy, unorganized book, but there are plenty of great info to make it worthwhile. There's also a wonderfully encouraging book by Cafi Cohen. I think the title is something like Homeschooling the High School Years, but it may have the word "college" in it somewhere. After hsing two years of high school, the other thing I plan to buy is Lee Binz/The Homescholar's how-to transcript book. Lee also has a great blog and free monthly newsletter; see here.
