cathmom Posted June 19, 2011 Share Posted June 19, 2011 I just finished Operation Redwood by S. Terrell French, about a group of kids who save an old-growth redwood forest from being clear-cut. It was very enjoyable - several laugh-out-loud funny lines, some flashes of really good writing, and a well-thought-out plot that wrapped everything up in a very satisfying way at the end. One of the children is homeschooled and it's a very nice portrayal of it, I think, although as far as I can tell, the author's dc are not homeschooled. Just wanted to recommend it!
