StephanieF
Anyone done/doing this? I am still looking for something for ds8 in the fall. He has done MM3 and seems to place into Rightstart E although he doesn't know his multiplication facts off by heart yet, although we are nearly there. We did Rightstart B a while ago and I did enjoy it I just went with MM as it didn't take up so much of my time. However I do want to teach him math and look at different ways of solving problems, he does benefit from me talking through problems with him rather than reading things off a page which he doesn't process. Any advice? Stephanie

Mom-ninja.
You could continue with MM and use RS games. RS doesn't follow a traditional scope and sequence so I'm not sure what he would miss be going from B to E but having done MM. We're doing E right now with my 10 yr old. So far it's going over division, fractions, and percents as the main themes.
