I don't really have reluctant writers, and we are pretty happy with our current writing materials. But this looks like a breath of fresh air.. and just plain fun. :D What did your kids think of it? Mom22ns Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 I have an extremely reluctant writer and a natural writer that didn't want to write something assigned. They both really liked Jump In and did great with it! My dd told me at the end of this year she would like to do another year with writing like Jump In (I just wish I knew what that was). Ds will be doing OYAN which is a big change from the reluctant writer he was two years ago when we did Jump In. They both produced some good work, it was easy and painless. It probably rates as one of my all time favorites. We just did it for one year. The kids didn't love the writing prompts that flush it out into two years.
