aspear Posted May 25, 2011 Share Posted May 25, 2011 I have a 5th grader and 7th grader? What are people's opinions on starting to teach Latin in the fall to both of them? Is it a good base before doing Spanish in Highschool or is it not worth the effort? If you suggest doing Latin, do you have a good curriculum to recommend? Thanks!! We will be doing Latin For Children A this coming year and it looks excellent. You can check out the Classical Academic Press website here. SnMomof7 Posted May 26, 2011 Share Posted May 26, 2011 I would go for it :). It is a GREAT base for Spanish, around 80% of Spanish is based on Latin!
