Koerarmoca
I want to get CLE math for my soon to be 1st & 4th graders. My first grader is pretty good a mental math (as in can add/subtract with out using fingers or manipulative's) and my 4th grader is average or slightly above average in math. Would buying 1st & 4th grade levels match their skills or should I level up or down?
RootAnn
There is a placement test. I'd highly suggest it for your 4th grader. You don't have to make them do the whole thing in one sitting (or one day), just have them finish a couple pages each day. It'll really help you with placement. It tells you at the beginning where to start them. (It says your 1st grader doesn't need to do the testing, but you can try the 100 level test if you want.)
