My boys will be 9 when we do SOTW 3 and i am looking for some good read alouds as well as some good readers for them. They read on 4th grade level or so. Lexington and Concord by Dennis Brindell Fradin Paul Revere’s Ride by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow By the Dawn’s Early Light by Steven Kroll Susanna of the Alamo by John Jakes The Revolutionary John Adams by Cheryl Harness (we like all of her presidential bios) I think I need to start a rating system.
