Truscifi
Y'all have already helped me pick language art and logic curricula, now I'm on to our science program. We are doing grammar stage physics this year. I'm leaning toward bite size physics, but I would like to hear from someone who has used it. Also, if you have any other recommendations, feel free to chime in. :D TIA
Staceyshoe
:bigear: We've been considering Bite Size Physics also. (Although I do thinK Elemental Science looks interesting too.)
renabeth
We may use The Elements, but what I really want to know is what you decided for language and logic. :)
Truscifi
Lol, we are continuing with MCT for language arts, using Song School Latin over the summer and transitioning into Latin for Children A in the fall, and using Logic Countdown for logic. We did The Elements this past year for chemistry and loved it, but it only lasted til early December. We did living books and The Happy Scientist videos the rest of the year, leading up to the small science project we are finishing this week. (A trifold board with a paragraph about sodium/water reaction, pics, a model of the reaction, etc that he will present to a few family & friends, in case you were wondering. ;)) I've only found a few physics programs of an appropriate level and light on math. I would love to do some of the Supercharged Science stuff, but it is awfully expensive. So I'm pretty sure we will use Bite Size Physics. I wish I could find a list of materials needed for the experiments before I decide though.
