Trig course?

We have been using Videotext - last May we purchased their Geometry program which also contains Trig. The Trig portion hadn't been completed but he assured us that it would be out by Sept.....then by Nov.....then by Dec.....now one year later he said he still has 7 lessons to write!

 

My daughter is taking AP Physics this Fall and needs to have Trig completed by then.

 

Has anyone used an online course or video course for Trig that they were happy with?

I think a lot of geometry courses include trig, and so do a lot of algebra 2 courses (sometimes because algebra 2 finishes before the year ends). Oh, and pre-calc :)

 

My son is doing TT Geometry right now and it covers trig. Not sure if it's an exhaustive study. It looks like TT has quite a bit more trig in their pre-calc.

 

As for a straight trig course, you might try a tag search.

I think you can do Thinkwell's trig online.

MUS used to call their Precalc "trig" as I recall.

If you're talking about ap physics b, then you just need very basic trig. It can be covered sufficiently when she gets to it. All she needs to learn is sine/cosine/tangent and then how to undo them.

You actually need just very basic trig. You don't need to know how to deal with the trig identities. The first 5 videos in the trigonometry section ought to cover everything your dd needs.
