Lovedtodeath
DD seems to do best with a white board with Math Mammoth. Should I stick to this? Buy the workbook but not write in it? Use graph paper or a graphed white board? What has been your experience? TY!
nukeswife
my kids just work on a white board. I bought the workbooks last year and they sat unused. The workbook in the lower levels is just a word for word copy of what's on the computer lecture and the problems are exactly the same. Not sure about Pre-Algebra and up (I know they are updating Pre-alg and Alg I)
alisonf3
My kids love the white board, too. Their favorite way to do math is with window crayons on our patio door. Not as easy to wipe off, but they get so excited and motivated when I pull them out! We rarely use the workbooks. Princess Peach
It sounds like your DD likes the whiteboard and is used to copying the problems to it. In our experience, though, my DS likes to write in the books. We tried having him write on separate paper, but he was copying things wrong and it was frustrating for him. So now he works in the books and transfers his answers to the computer.
