I'm in western Washington, so not the same area, but we travelled there once. I would like to do it again this summer and so would my daughter. linders Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 I'm from near there (Richland). If the training isn't for a couple of months, there would be great nature opportunities - daytrip to Mt. St. Helens to see the still-devasted area from the volcanic explosion, daytrip to Mt. Rainier National park (beautiful), just go up in the Cascade Mountains.
