Zumdahl Chemistry

Those whose students have done Zumdahl Chemistry in the past or now: How much did you do for a one year course and what did you call it?

 

Is it considered a second year textbook?

Ds did half of it in college in one semester, so in high school it would be two years of chemistry to do the entire book.

That's what I thought.

 

Do you know what the course was titled? I am thinking along the lines of General Chem. I but am not sure if I should call it that or Advanced Chemistry.

Since you've already had chemistry, I'd call it advanced chemistry -- it will be a better representation of the fact that it's really a college book.

It was advanced chemistry, a 111 class in college (the other half was 112).

I asked him, he thinks though Chapter 10. (Its been a few years and it was an awful class that moved SO fast!). I do remember a study guide, solutions manual, online support (but it was expensive, if you do this, get a brand new book, it is included).
