Gwen in VA Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 My dd took it with Mrs. Bell several years ago. 1) The course actually didn't take that much time. I would guess 4 - 6 hours per week, except for the week when the major project was due. 2) It definitely helped develop literary analysis skills, which are the major skill tested on the AP exam. 3) It involved a reasonable amount of writing, though actually less than I expected.
