shastanarnia
Hi, My dd, a rising senior, has completed Apologia Biology and Chemistry with The Potters School. However, she does not want to take Physics. She wants to go into anthropology/archaeology in college, so her course won't require much science. I was wondering about Earth Science/Geology? Does anyone know of a high school/college course online or self-study that would be available? Do you think that this route would be acceptable? Is it good enough for acceptance into academically rigorous schools? Thanks....Darlene
Susan C.
Look at college requirements. Here in SC, you have to have three science credits (actually four to include physical science), the first being Biology, then two more that need biology as a prerequisite. So we are doing chemistry this year, and will do anatomy next year.
againes
My daughter loved the Apologia's "Human Body". It has been her favorite science. It should fit in well with your daughter's career plans.
