kchara
I was rereading WTM again last night, and I came upon the part in the beginning where Jesse Wise talks about being the laundry basket lady at the library. :D I just love that... Anyway, I highlighted and wrote down the books she had her kids check out, and when we got to the library today, I had them go through the list. But... the storybook stumped me. Maybe I'm just mommy-brained out right now (a VERY good possibility), but what do you consider an "imaginative storybook?" They had so many books, and they got a couple of extra fiction books, just because. Would that be fairy tales? Folklore? How would this differ from, say, a classic novel, or would it be the same? Jennifer
I always thought that meant picture books-my 11 year old still enjoys well written and illustrated picture books. Jennifer
