KatieJ
He has been on an antibiotic for 24 hours now, just took the 4th dose. He is finally feeling better. How long before he is no longer contagious?
In The Great White North
They usually say 24 hours on the antibiotics, so he shouldn't be contagious anymore.
Nakia
He should no longer be contagious since he has been on antibiotics for 24 hours, as long as he doesn't have a fever.
teachmejoy
He should be alright, but be careful! The germ can hang around on things for a long time! I've had it 2x in one month and the Dr. said I probably picked it back up off something in my house. We got rid of toothbrushes and everything! Findley2
I know they say 24 hours but in my experience that is to soon. I caught strep from extended family who had been on antibiotics for a few days.
