fairfarmhand Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 dh and I spent Friday and Saturday working on fence for the new property we bought last fall. On one hand, I am very thankful that we were able to buy the property and it will greatly help our farm's pasture management. And I am thankful the weather is gorgeous. But... 20 acres, 3 strands barbed wire, 2 strands of electric...that is quite a fence. My dh pounded 100 t posts Friday. Worked most of the day Saturday too. So glad we rested Sunday...but after he gets off work this afternoon we will be back at it...and tomorrow he's taking the day off to work on it....sigh.... we have one hay roll left for the cows so we've got about 5 days left of feed before we HAVE to put them out there. so tired.....
