Using TOG with a rising 9th grader with dyslexia, Autism, CAPD

My oldest would be in 9th grade this coming fall. I plan on using TOG - starting with Year 1 - with him in the fall. We'll be using Apologia Physical Science. By the fall I suspect he will be close to grade level reading wise (he's up to level 7 Wilson and he will have three more months of weekly tutoring by then).

 

I'm thinking - because of his dyslexia, CAPD and autism - he's more in the Dialectic level than the Rhetoric. Should I start there (I plan on using TOG through HS for him) and maybe try Rhetoric when he's in 11th?

 

I'm really freaking out over teaching high school. I'm trying to figure out how to asses credit with a differently abled learner who hates to write and read.

 

Any suggestions or advice? Thanks
