cherylw
Here is an article on the R&S website that I thought needed to be shared. May be old news, but new to me. http://soulfood.rodandstaffbooks.com/entries/Dont_Sell_Out
CoastalGal
I first heard about this last year... If you're interested in learning more, you should check out the DVD "Exposing a Trojan Horse."
kalanamak
Here is an article on the R&S website that I thought needed to be shared. May be old news, but new to me.http://soulfood.rodandstaffbooks.com/entries/Dont_Sell_Out Our state has, AFAIR, never paid for religious texts (i.e. they didn't offer it to sucker people in and then start with their true agenda), and has several options for homeschooling, as in school-at-home online, part time enrollment, funding with some specific reporting (you can use religious books, but have to spend the money they send you on other things -- some on this board us it for field trips or music lessons), or just plain old independent with really no one checking up on you. Many quite religious people on this board use our state programs. The article seems rather black and white, and the publisher has two goals: buy my books, not theirs, and also "my way of keeping our faith is THE way of keeping our faith". One more reason I am content not to be burdened with a belief in Satan.
