  1. How does this work if the item was paid for w/ Paypal??
  2. Sign me up for the MMC (Mean Mommy Club)... I'm the Mom, I make the decisions regarding education. At or around Middle School/High School, I would consider letting a child have input as to curriculum...but the final decision is mine. Children do not always know or choose what is best for them. ;)
  3. Honestly, we didn't have much trouble administering breathing treatments. Once I told my son he'd sound like Darth Vader on Star Wars, it was a cake walk. LOL  We read a book, did a puzzle, played with blocks...anything to entertain him. They want you to wake a sleeping child?? :001_huh:
  4. Not Audio Book, but have you heard of "My Audio School"? It's really cool -- and there's a lot of material for FREE. (just download) Also, you can join for $15/year and "unlock" more material. WELL worth it, IMO. ;)
  5. I first heard about this last year... If you're interested in learning more, you should check out the DVD "Exposing a Trojan Horse."
  6. I wasn't a fan at my age either -- I'll be 42 in September. But it just seemed better than the alternatives...they were all a lot more "permanent". My plan is to ease off the BC next cycle. I'm hoping that this "reset" combined with some dietary changes will do the trick. Honestly, I was concerned about gaining weight...but I haven't gained a pound in 3 months. I think it has something to do w/ finding the right dose for YOUR body. I don't know...just a thought. :grouphug:
  7. :grouphug: I'm in the same place...it stinks! 3 months ago, I went to the Dr. and the first thing that flies out of her mouth is D&C, then ablation, then IUD. :001_huh: I was ready to :auto:... It took some convincing on my part, but I finally got her to prescribe BC -- the lowest dose possible. So far, so good...I go back next week for a follow-up. I've never used a cup -- so I can't help you there. (Last month was the first time I have been able to use tampons since pre-pregnancy days.) I bought the Kotex brand... Have you tried different absorbencies?? (If they're too big, then they will feel "dry" and irritate you...)
  8. Carol gave some excellent advice... Knowing what I know about MUS, if he hasn't finished Epsilon & Zeta, he will need something that brings him up to speed on fractions and decimals. (because of the scope/sequence of MUS -- it's different than any other program I know of) Maybe Key to ____ series...? When we switched from MUS Epsilon to Teaching Textbooks, my son tested into TT5 -- only because of fractions & decimals -- and most of the rest of TT5 is review. (He has completed almost 1/2 of TT5 in about a month.)
  9. I don't think it "dings" your credit to cancel/close credit cards... When we applied for our mortgage years ago, the mortgage officer recommended that we close out several cards as it would boost our score. ~Amy
  10. I believe they're in the WWE hardcover...
  11. This made me laugh...I must have a few years on you. My report cards were 5-part carbon copy, handwritten. LOL - talks too much - doesn't apply herself - lacks confidence
  12. I actually don't mind shopping *IF* I go when the store isn't too crowded. ;) (which is EARLY morning -- before 8 AM or LATE evening -- after 9 PM) I take either my 18yo or my 14yo -- they push the cart while I read the list and gather the goods. When we get to the checkout, they take the bags off and put them in the cart.
