Would the Washington Student rock pack from Home Science Tools be sufficient or would the larger samples in the the specimen kit be more appropriate? http://www.hometrainingtools.com/search.asp?ss=washington&x=0&y=0 I have looked for coral at a school supply store, a pet store, and arts and crafts stores. The pet store sells fake coral (plastic) and live coral. The other stores have plenty of shells but no coral. Home Science Tools sells coral samples, but it looks like much more than we will need.
