Melissa in St Louis Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 (edited) Ok, so we found a venue for my in-law's surprise 40th anniversary party -- now we need a theme! They aren't really traditional folks, and would probably appreciate something "fun" much more than something "fancy/pretty." The hall where we are having it is very beige and will need some sprucing up to look festive....got any ideas? I'm thinking something like "Still Wild About Each Other After 40 Years" and a jungle theme. Or "The Last 40 Years Have Been a Circus" with a circus theme. Any ideas?
