Renee in NC
I just bought Barton Level 1 on ebay for my 9yo and 12yo. I'm going to make the older one go through that level regardless, then I'll give him the post tests that I received to see where to put him next. Renee in NC
I just gave my 12yo the Post Test for Level 2 and he didn't pass it.:001_huh: He couldn't read or spell most of the nonsense words. Poor kid - no wonder he gets so frustrated.
Mission-Driven-Mom
My son went through Barton levels 1-3 and made huge strides with the program. I am sure it won't always be easy but you are going to be helping him (both of them) SO much...great forward progress :D! Best wishes as you begin. AngieW in Texas
If you haven't already, you should join dyslexiasupport2 and HeartofReading on yahoogroups. Lots of people on those loops use Barton and they post the levels they've finished for sale.

I'm excited for you! It's been a great program for us! I'll just give you a little warning that level one looks really small and simple when you get it. One of my children without reading problems went through it less than a day. BUT my little guy with the reading problems, he took a couple of months to get through it. Did you do the Barton's pre-test with your kids yet? If not, it's on their website.
