atozmom Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 DD is doing Saxon Alg 1 this year for 9th and then Alg 2 for 10th. I would like her to do the first half of Advanced Math in 11th. I know by doing this sequence she will have had enough for a full Geometry credit but how do you list this on a transcript? 9th - Alg 1 -1 credit 10th - Alg 2 -1 credit 11th - Geometry -1 credit or 9th - Alg 1 with Geometry = 1 credit 10th - Alg 2 with Geometry = 1 credit 11th - ?? with Geometry = 1 credit Also, if it makes a difference, she really wants to do BJU's Consumer Math in 12th. So she wouldn't finish the Saxon AM book. Add “Trigonometry and Pre-calculus†(1 credit) if they successfully complete the entirety of the Advanced mathematics textbook. Under no circumstances should you record “Advanced Mathematics†on the student’s high school transcript as colleges and universities will not know what math this course contains.
