Elohcin
My daughter took the VP scholars online class this year and they did the first half of Wheelocks. She liked the class, but was so busy with other things that she doesn't feel ready to take Latin 2 next year. Do think that we should go back over the first half of Wheelocks next year again to cement it and then take Latin 2 in 9th grade? Or something else entirely. My Latin skills are ok, rusty from college. I am not sure that I can put too much time into it. I know that sounds terrible, but it's reality right now. I'd love some advice. Thanks. Alphabetika
If you'd consider online classes, you could look at Lukeion.org. They use Lukeion, taking two years to finish the test. Your dd could either enroll in Latin B (assuming it would start where her other class left off) or do the whole thing over again and enroll in Latin A next year, B the next year. Elohcin
I was looking at Lukion today. I think that might be an option. Thanks.
angela in ohio
I would do soemthing else next year, and then come back to do the first half of Wheelock's again as a 9th grader.
