greenmamato3
i'm intrigued by Apologia's "Who is God?" book but can't figure out what age it fits. anyone with experience care to comment? i'd also love to hear comparisons between it and other programs such as the Explorer's Bible Study and the new one available at Peace Hill Press' site. 3byzaz
I am using it with the boys - ages in my signature. We really love it. I do have them do some of the notebooking. The discussions have been great and we are learning a lot. It is awesome - I have no complaints.
The Girls' Mom
We are currently using it (10-14 year olds) I think it would be a good fit for early elementary on up. You can easily simplify it for younger students, and get into deeper discussions with the older ones.
greenmamato3
for PPers, might i ask: what "bible curriculum" have you done prior to this? would love to know what else you've used and loved.
Hedgehogs4
for us, "Who Is God?" has been wonderful this year. my very thoughtful 9yo son and i get into some really good discussions, my 5yo loves the stories, but doesn't always join the conversation, but she's listening and taking it all in. I wouldn't recommend it for kids under 7 unless it is with an older sibling.
petepie2
I'm using it with my 6 year old and we're really enjoying it. She gets a lot out of it, however, if she were just a bit older, she would get more. We don't do the notebooking part. I'm thinking I may repeat the series once we go through the four books.
