SnMomof7
Well, the family has voted to stay with mastery based science. We're currently doing Apologia Astronomy, which title would you do next? I've heard some are more difficult than others.
michelle l
Zoology 1 (Flying Creatures) if you haven't done that yet. We really enjoyed it.:) I think more than that, we just really developed an interest in birds.
TXMary2
If you are close to finishing Astronomy then the upcoming spring is a good time to do Botany. The Zoo courses increase in difficulty, in order. Zoo 3 and the new Anatomy are by far the more intense of all the books.
SnMomof7
So if we do zoo 1, is it best to follow with zoo 2 and 3, or to take a break and do...botany in between? Also, is Apologia ever going to release a book dealing with magnets/light/electricity etc?
SnMomof7
Thanks TXMary2! I was considering doing the botany, it sounds like you consider it one of the easier books?
PentecostalMom
I would check http://www.jeanniefulbright.com for help with this. :)
Guest
Well, the family has voted to stay with mastery based science. We're currently doing Apologia Astronomy, which title would you do next? I've heard some are more difficult than others. http://www.jeanniefulbright.com/faq Jennifer, I think the link above is the best place to start. Just scroll down to "What is the ideal age for the series". I am looking at using Zoology 1 later this year, after we finish RS4K. Adrian is 7 but since he has a late October birthday I have registered him as 1st grade this year. I am looking at doing all the Zoology books in order. This means that we would be using Zoology 3 in 3rd and J. Fullbright recommends not start Zoo 3 before 3rd. Not sure if the plan will change but if things stay as they are we should be ok. SnMomof7
Perfect, thanks! We'll either do botany with the journal for lit suggestions OR RSFK Chem Pre-1 OR NOEO Chem 1, LOL, how's that for narrowing it down?
