delaney
I am looking at SOTW 3 for next year for my 6th and 2nd grade girls and I usually get HO to fill in extra reading choices and ideas. I am having trouble deciding if HO Early Modern 1 will be too light for older DD and should I do the more in depth level 2. Is there a place that lines up the 2 curriculum? I know they have it for TOG. Thanks ladies!
AngelBee
SOTW is used in HO level 1 I believe. I know it is used for Middle Ages level 1. I don't have any experience with level 2. Were you able to look at the sample? It has the table of contents and the core books.
elinnea
There's a try before you buy feature at Pandia Press for the different levels. I've found it to be really helpful. It gives you several lessons so you can really get a feel for what will be expected for that level. Personally I think Level 1 would be too easy for a 6th grader but that really depends on the individual child. If you stumble across a place that lines of SOTW and HO please post because I would be interested too!
