Because of the height requirements it needs to go on top of our TV. It says that it can't go directly on top - it needs a separte part. Do I have to get this separate part, or can I put it on top of something else on top of the TV? Maybe just short-term, until I can get something? How close to the front of the TV does it have to be? ~Jo Posted December 28, 2010 Share Posted December 28, 2010 My dh used velcro to attach ours to the top of a small surround sound speaker that sits directly on top of our TV. LunaLee Posted December 28, 2010 Share Posted December 28, 2010 We are getting an IKEA shelf to put above the tv which will give us a comfortable 8-10 ft. clearance, otherwise we have to keep moving the couches around, which I am NOT down for at all.
