BikeBookBread
We have a 5 year old Subaru Outback. Granted, the weather is pretty cold right now, but the car is garaged. Should it ever smell "hot", like burning oil? We just spent $2500 servicing the struts and brakes, along with an expensive 65k tuneup on the thing in September. Grrrrr. Catwoman
If it has a burning smell, it needs to go back to the dealership so they can find out what's going on. But first, check underneath the car and make sure you didn't run over a plastic grocery bag that got melted onto the exhaust system -- that can stink for quite a while! colleenebeans
When my battery started going bad, it smelled hot, then it smelled like rotten eggs. It was really bad.
