Cindyz
We have a fire burning in our wood stove and the chimney just blew off the roof due to a wind storm. The fire is still burning and I think we should extinguish it, and husband thinks we could just let it burn out, but I'm afraid of it causing a fire in the attic. He went into the attic and said it all appears to be sealed and no smoke is entering the attic and it's fine. We've been in this house a little over a year and do not have prior experience with a wood stove. Any advice? Thank you!
Melissa in Australia
I would let the fire die down naturally.
