Glycemic Index - a good link or something?

Recommended Posts

The lists of foods and their GI values are not real easy to figure out. The ones I have seen break it down based on what country you are in, what brand it is, and how it is cooked. Rice & potatoes unless they still have crunch to them are high GI values. Oatmeal has a high GI value as well. There is a glycemic load value, which I have not totally figured out, but I think it factors in the amount of a food that you eat.

I lost a good amount of weight on it and got pregnant while doing it after trying for 7 or 8 years to get pregnant. HMMM...I really need to seriously start back on it.

One thing to note. Peanut M&M's are low GI.:D
