choirfarm
I'm not quite sure how to help son ( 10th, 15). His handwriting has just gotten so horrible. Even when he tries to print neatly, it isn't great. His coursework takes so long anyway... On Friday he took test for AP stats that was the written section. There were 4 questions and he was trying to write neatly, but even so after at least an hour an a half it looked like chicken scratch. I mean it WAS much neater than it has been, but honestly, to make it look pretty he would have needed at least an hour to coppy the four pages he had written. It is like he can't THINK and write pretty at the same time. He has gotten where his numbers are neat, so reading his Physics and other math is fine. But words.. He is trying.. but his school pretty much takes him from 8 to 4 or 5 now as it is... Christine
Quiver0f10
I have a 14 yo son who has the same issue. I have him type what he can, but when he does need to print I have him use block print, which is basically all uppercase letters. For some reason it seems easier and usually comes out neater. JudoMom
If he wants to work on it, you might want to consider Fix It...Write. It takes 10-15 minutes a day and is rather painless, and it's for older students & adults.
