Grace is Sufficient
Ummm.... what exactly are mid year reports? This thread was the first I've heard of such things! I'm guessing that it's a report of a senior's first semester grades? Is this something all schools expect to see, or do they request it specifically? (Yikes! What else am I missing??????) Thanks, Debbie
Kareni
Yes, you are correct in that it is a mid-year progress report. Schools do require it in many cases. Generally, they do not contact you to inform you of the need; the information will be posted on the college's website. As to what else you might be missing, I hope nothing! This applying to college business is quite the undertaking for homeschool parent as well as child. If your child requires financial aid, make sure you educate yourself as to the requirements involved. The CSS Profile (required by a number of private schools), FAFSA, and school specific financial aid forms can all have deadlines that you do not want to miss. School specific scholarships can also have variable deadlines. Regards, Kareni
