mary.margaret
Anyone here who has a copy of Explode the Code book 3 in his/her possession... Do the answer spots provide two full and one middle dotted line throughout the book, as shown below? ___________________________ ------------------------------- ___________________________ I just bought book 3 1/2 because our bookstore didn't have a copy of book 3, and it only has one solid bottom line. My 5 year old really needs the three lines. Book 2 that we are finishing has the three lines. I'm wondering if it's a difference between the 1/2 books and the regular books, or if it changes as the books progress in difficulty. I'll return these and order book 3 if it has the lines shown above. To anyone who takes the time to help me with this, thank you so much. :) Mary-Margaret
Tylianna
Yes, it has those lines in it! My DD needs them, too :)
Devotional Soul
We're using ETC 3. Most of the lessons have 8 pages and 4 of them have writing spaces. 3 of these 4 have the dotted middle line, but 1 has these _ for each letter of the word. The word is written above the lines to be copied. Sometimes it's small for my ds and he makes it all one long line with an extension if needed. HTH! Farrar
Actually, no, they're not throughout the book. They're there for most pages, but on a few pages - the ones where you copy the word right underneath and then X the right picture out of the three options, there are single little spaces for each letter. So if the word was frog it would look like: _ _ _ _ However, I wouldn't let that be a dealbreaker if it were me... I don't like the three lined kind and my kids (coming from doing HWT) had no clue how to use it and I didn't let that stop us from doing ETC. But just my 2 cents.
