plain jane Posted November 3, 2010 Share Posted November 3, 2010 We like the Mind Benders software and find that it gets played quite a bit. The kids also liked the books, if you'd like to spend a little less. My favorite (not my child's ;), although she did like working through it) is the Math Detective. It's really improved my dd's word problem skills. She was decent at them before, but very quick to skim the text and plug in numbers how she thought they would work vs. what the question really asked. :glare: Math Detective has (for the most part) trained her out of this.
