TXMary2
This is the sequel to The Graduate. Has anyone read this? My library has it and I think I am going to check it out. http://www.amazon.com/Home-School-Wheeler-Large-Print/dp/1597227315/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1286830902&sr=8-

Saille
LOL...I read this last year. The author seems to like to play with the middle-class neuroses of a certain generation, and groups homeschooling under that heading. The extremes to which some minor characters take it are, IMO, predictable. Sort of like watching Stephanopoulis's capped teeth hit the news desk when someone says "radical unschoolers". kewb
I thought the book was so-so. I can't say I enjoyed it but it wasn't the worst thing I ever read.
TXMary2
OK- so I am picking it up today and looking forward to reading it.
TXMary2
So, I am a third of the way through the book and as a homeschooler I find it interesting and entertaining. If I wasn't a homeschooler I think I might be frustrated with the story after having enjoyed The Graduate so much. I am slightly horrified with the way they deal with the Superintindent!:svengo:
