Dobela Posted September 16, 2010 Share Posted September 16, 2010 My son has been doing Winston grammar with his private reading tutor. I love Winston Grammar! When he finishes with the tutor in November he will have also finished the basic level of WG. He is 10 and operating right now on an early 3rd grade level academically. That was all delayed due to his reading. We are also doing the 3rd grade BJU English DVDs. As far as grammar, those DVDs he considers to be 'easy' after WG but the writing and other topics are not so easy. What would you do? Would you buy the supplementals for WG and continue those for grammar and just use BJU for all the other topics? Would you go to the Winston Grammar Word Works instead of using the supplemental materials? Would you suggest something else? Thank you!
